As the founder and executive director of Starfish Savers, LLC, I am delighted to welcome you to our website.

Our vision is to enable all people with complex special needs, including autism, Asperger's, and ADHD, to actively live their dreams in the community of their choosing. The welfare , education, and rights of individuals with disabilities have been a lifetime passion of mine. After 35 years working with people with complex needs across all environments, I am passionate that the collaboration and effective communication of significant family members, professionals and friends is essential in the realization of the full potential of a person with a disability. The facilitation of a person's right to determine goals and dreams, self-advocate and develop social skills is paramount to the long-term success of our clients.

To fulfill our mission, we provide assistance to people with autism, Asperger's, ADHD and other complex special needs. Our Consultation and Advocacy Servicesassist families in understanding and actively participating in the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEP's). This provides families with a deeper understanding of their child's strengths, needs and educational goals.

Our 1:1 Social Skills Coaching Program is a unique offering that is extremely valuable to our community. Social skill development is essential for developing relationships and participating in community life in the areas of leisure, recreation and employment. Social Coaching Services facilitate the practice and reinforcement of thise skills in the community settings of daily life.

Our Exploration Adventure Camp for children, teens and adults in partnership with Adventure Links exemplifies our commitment to providing a unique experiential environment where people with complex speical needs can safely and successfully challenge themselves physically, intellectually and socially.
