Advocacy Services

 Advocacy Services include but are not limited to preparing for and attending meetings for:

*Local Screening     *Child Study     *Eligibility     *Individualized Education Plan (IEP)     *504 accommodations   

*Individualized Service Plan for students in private school placements   *Individualized Family Service Plans(IFSP)

*Individualized Transition Plans 

*We will also assist you in obtaining testing toward eligibility for special education services if that is the primary issue

We provide consultation based on the individual needs of the client.  An initial home visit with the director will be scheduled which typically lasts 1.5 – 2 hours and includes a brief review of current documents such as the latest testing and Individualized Education Plans (IEP). We will discuss your service options with you at the initial visit. This will be followed by an observation for the maximum time allowed in the school setting prior to preparing for and attending meetings.
